Ramsey is located far northwest of Bergen county and is also enroute of NJ transit railway from Ridgewood to north.
For this reason, this town is also very convenient for people who works in New York city as well as in New Jersey.
This town is close to I-287, Garden State Parkway, and I-87 New York thruway.
Their immediate neighbour is Allendale to south, Wyckoff and Franklin Lake to southwest, Ramapoo Mountain, Ramapoo River,
County Reservation and park area to west, Mahwah to north, Saddle River to east and southeast. It's a couple of minutes
to Suffern, NY.
As same as many other towns, Ramsey has lots of green land, lakes, rivers and golf courses.
 
The route 17 runs eastern part of the town and lots of business are besides of the highway. Once come into the town center,
it's quiet but it's shopping and education center too. Just middle in the town, there's the railway station. It's so convenience for the people who
live in the town.
There're almost 70 restaurants, deli, take out, cafe, coffee shops, bakery and so on combined in the town.
