The Paramus, the center of business of the Bergen county where the largest populated almost one million
(902 thousand in 2004 by Est. US Census) in the state of New Jersey.
The Justis center is in Hackensack, but the business center is here in Paramus.
Until beggining of the 20th century, it's said that it was very rural area of Hackensack and population was only around 1,500.
In year 2004, it's 26,600(Est. US Census), has grown more than 17 times just in 80 years or so.
A couple of major highways go through the town from south to north, from east to west.
On the both side of the highways, there're hundreds or thousands of business one after another.
It's very active commercial and industrial city.
But, once come into residential area just behind of those highways, it's quiet and nice place to live.
The town has the second largest size of land out of 74 boros in the Bergen county, so there's plenty of residential area there.
There're more than 120 restaurants, deli, take out, cafe, coffee shop, bar and other food related business combined in this town only.
