This town, Fort Lee is known where there's a fort of General Charles Lee at the time of American Revolution.
The fort was to defence Hudson Valley from British war ships.The fort was used by General George Washington also.
Interstate Highway 95 (I-95) and the other Insterstate Highway 80 (I-80) marged before crossing George Washington Bridge
at Fort Lee.
We see hundreds of thousands of cars and trucks crossing the bridge everyday.
I-95 comes up from far south Florida through Virginiat and others. I-80 comes from far west from California through Chicago, IL.,
Pennsysvani and many others states.
Those two major hightways marges and keep going to northern New England region. For this reason, the traffice on the
bridge and after that is alway very heavy. That's problem for travelers.
Even the traffic, very close to New York city has a value for it.
For the location, Fort Lee has lots of business, company offices.
But, except the highways, there're very quiet places as same as many other towns in New Jersey.
Fort Lee has lots of apartments and condominiums due to close to New York city. The highrise buildings are every where, especially
on Palisades Avenue which runs on the most eastern part of Fort Lee. The view from windows of those apartments are superve.
